No Labor in the Near Future

From now on, I'll be seeing my doctor every week. I can't believe I only have 4 weeks until my due date. Everything is going well. In fact, except for the minor discomforts of pregnancy, not much is going on with my body. I saw my doctor today and she decided to do an internal to see if anything was happening. I was hoping that she would say that I'm starting to dilate, or that my cervix was soft, anything that would indicate my body is doing something, but no...I'm not dilated at all. My cervix is firm and closed. She said not to expect anything for a while. What a bummer. Of course, I wasn't too surprised since I haven't had any contractions. Oh well. I guess its my body's way of saying that Beth has some more baking to do. At least I don't have to worry about going into labor when Randy is in California.
