Back to Work

Today is my first day back at work. It feels weird going back. These past 8 weeks seemed to have gone by so fast. I already miss my little girl. These first few days are going to be hard. Fortunately, I know my hubby will be at home to take care of her.

Giggles and Grins

I finally caught Elizabeth smiling on camera. She is so cute!!!

Heads Up!!

Elizabeth has been able to hold up her head for a while. However, yesturday she started trying to sit up. It was amazing!! We would lay her down and she would lift her head and do a stomach crunch to try and sit up. We could tell thats what she wanted to do but her body just wasn't doing what she wanted. She would get a little frustrated because of it. To help her out, we hold her hands as she tries to sit up and she has no problem doing it. We are so proud of her.

Sleeping Beauty

Today Elizabeth reached a milestone. She fell asleep all on her very own. We didn't have to rock her, feed her, or even give her a pacifier. She just went to sleep. It was pretty cool.

Baby Einstein

Beth loves to watch Baby Einstein. Most mornings we'll sit her in a chair and put on Baby Mozart or Baby Bach on. She is completely fascinated by it. It keeps her calm and occupied for a while.

Time Flies By When You're Having Fun

I can't believe Elizabeth is almost 7 weeks old. She is growing up so fast. So many things have happened. We've been blessed with such a good daughter. She started sleeping through the night at two weeks old!!! She is a joy to be around. She loves to smile and spend time with mommy and especially daddy. I have to say she is definitely daddy's little princess. She has him wrapped around her little finger. Beth is growing up so fast. We estimate her to be about 12-13 lbs and 24" long. We'll know for sure at her two month check-up. Here's a picture of her at one month old. She is such a cutie!

I'll be going back to work on the 31st. It's going to be hard. Fortunately, Randy will be able to stay home with her. I think it will be a neat experience for him.
