I'm So Tired

Today I find myself falling asleep periodically at work. I've been so tired. The past week I've been sick with either a cold, sinus infection, allergies, or all of the above. It's been miserable especially at night. I thought I got a good night's rest but it looks like I didn't. I'm yawning constantly. I wish I wasn't tired today. It's Elizabeth's first Halloween!!! I need to be there to celebrate it with her instead of snoring in my bed. I really hope I get a boost of energy soon. I really need it.

New Toy!!!

Well, last Monday Elizabeth got a new toy!!! She really likes it, especially when we go out to different places. It even comforts her when she is really tired and cranky. She loves it so much, we'll even be taking it with us when we go to California for Christmas.

Look at Elizabeth's new ride!!!

The Pumpkin Patch

Elizabeth went to her first pumpkin patch. It was really neat! There were so many pumpkins to choose from but I think Elizabeth found the pumpkin for her. There was so much stuff to do. They had hay rides, food, and wheelbarrels for the kids to ride in while searching for the perfect pumpkin.

I wish Elizabeth was a little older so she could enjoy it a little more. There really wasn't much she could do.However, we did manage to take a lot of really cute pictures of the things that Elizabeth did do. Hopefully next year will be even more fun!!!

Happy Birthday....

...to me! I can't believe I'm 28 today! Life is just flying by.

6 Months Old!

Elizabeth is half a year old!!! I can't believe it! She had her six month check-up yesturday. She did well except for being really tired. She didn't enjoy the doctor disturbing her nap. She weighs 17 lbs 8 oz (75-80 percentile) and is 28.25" long (97+ percentile). Her head circumfrance was 44 cm. The poor little girl had 5 shots! She didn't enjoy it, but was a trooper. The doctor says she is healthy and doing well. This past week Elizabeth started sitting on her own. She is very active and loves to play. We are so proud of her.

Our Bed is Possessed!!!!

Last night the strangest thing happened. About 1:30 in the morning our select comfort bed started going crazy. Our settings started to change all on their own!! I would hear a click and then the air would either increase or decrease and it did this for a few minutes. It drove me nuts and ultimately woke up everyone in the house. Finally we took the battery out of the remote and changed it. It seemed to be fine after that but we had to get the settings back in order. What a night. After that all of us, including Elizabeth, were up for some time. We didn't get back to bed until 3:00 a.m. Needless to say I'm extremely tired today.

UPDATE: Turns out our neighbor's remote for their new select comfort bed effects ours and vice versa. How funny! :) When they were adjusting their new bed last night, ours adjusted with it. Now that's CLASSIC!
