Elizabeth Anne

It has been decided to name our little girl Elizabeth Anne. We both feel it is a beautiful name with tons of possibilites for nick names. I can't wait to meet her. Only about 3 months to go!

Baby Registry!

We finally started our baby registry. It was really fun to do! Currently we are registered at Babies R Us and Target. So far the Target registry isn't fully online yet. Hopefully it will be there in a couple of days. We are also planning on registering at Wal-Mart, but we haven't had a chance to do that yet.

Sugar N' Spice And Everything Nice....

That's what GIRLS are made of. We're having a little girl. She had no problem showing us the goods this time. We're very excited!!! Now, there's so much that needs to be done. Only a few months to go!!

I Hate Ice Storms

On Wednesday, we had an ice storm. It could have been much worse, but it definately wasn't pleasant. We had an ultrasound scheduled for that day, but it was cancelled due to weather. I was very disappointed, but it's better to be safe than sorry. So, the ultrasound has been rescheduled for Monday. :( I really want to know what we are having.

23 Week Appointment

Everything seems to be going smoothly. My blood pressure was 104/68 and I have gained 5 lbs (9 total for the pregnancy). So I'm almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm starting to pooch out a bit, but nothing drastic. We have another ultrasound this Wednesday. We're really hoping to find out what we are having. I just hope the little one cooperates this time.

We're Having......

...a very modest baby. The big ultrasound was yesturday. Unfortunately, our little one didn't want to show us its birthday suit. The technician tried everything to get our baby in the right position, but no success. Every time the legs seemed to get in the way. It was either squating or kneeling. We have another ultrasound scheduled for Dec 7th. Hopefully, we'll know before Christmas.

Halfway Done!!

I can't believe I'm halfway through my pregnancy. Overall, it has gone by pretty fast. Once we find out what we are having, I'm sure it's going to fly by. Only 20 weeks to go!!!

Boy or Girl?

In a few days we find out if out little one is a boy or a girl. We're really excited! I've been taking a poll among family members, friends, and co-workers. My mom and dad both think it is a girl along with most of my friends. My co-workers are leaning more towards a boy. Personally, Randy and I are hoping for a little boy. So which is it? We'll find out soon!

I Feel Movement!!!!!

Late last week I felt our little one for the first time. It was really subtle but definately movement. I'm so excited!!! I felt it a little bit more today. It's such a cool experience. I can't wait til Randy can feel it!

Happy Birthday To Me!

It's my birthday today! I can't believe I'm already 27. Time sure does fly. I have to say I'm not doing anything exciting. I have to work today, but hopefully, I'll get to sneak out a little early. :)

15 Week Doctor's Appointment

I went to the see my doctor this morning. Everything is looking good. I didn't gain or lose any weight this time. My blood pressure was good (120/70) and I got to hear our little one's heartbeat again. It was 155. I discussed the heart burn/indigestion I've been experiencing with my doctor. She said I could try Zantec to see if that will help. Currently Tums and Malox aren't doing the trick, so hopefully this might give me some relief.

I'm 14 Weeks!

I can't believe I'm already 14 weeks. Pretty soon I'll be half way done. Everything is going well. My nausea and most of my fatigue is gone. I'm still not showing and I don't think I've gained any weight. I'll know for sure next week when I go to my doctor's appointment. The weather is absolutely wonderful today. The high is going to be in the mid 70's. It's much better that the record breaking high of 104 we had yesturday. Hopefully fall is on its way here soon.

Hurricane Rita

We spent most of last week preparing for hurrican Rita. At the time, it was on a course to hit DFW. Unfortunately, I didn't. It went more to the east. I was really disappointed since we really needed the rain. It's been so hot and dry lately, I was really looking forward to a break. This week it is still hot, but it looks like it will start to dip into the 80's by Thursday. We'll see if that happens.

Home Sweet Home

I just got back from a business trip to California. I'm so glad to be home!!! The trip really didn't agree with me. I don't know if it was the travel, the food, or both, but I was sick the whole time. Nothing seemed to agree with me. Even In N Out wasn't the same. Now that I'm back, things are normal. I feel a cold coming on but that's about it. Hopefully it won't get too bad.

Goodbye First Trimester!!!!

I'm so gald I can actually look at food and not want to hurl at the same time. I have to admit I've been fortunate not to have full blown morning sickness, but having all day nausea wasn't that great either. I still don't look pregnant, in fact all of my normal clothes are loose due to the 12 lbs I've lost. I'm sure it will be only a matter of weeks until I have to bust out the maternity wear. Our little one is doing fine. We heard the heartbeat for the first time last week. It was amazing!!! It was ~160. Everything seems to be going well, and our due date is set for March 30th, 2006.
